Driving license: We support you in your effort of regaining your driver’s license and with all questions about the medical-psychological examination (MPU).
In addition to the driver fitness check, TÜV Hessen also carries out medical or specialist medical examinations that can be commissioned privately by you or arranged by the driver's license authority. These examinations serve as a basis for assessing whether the driver is suitable for driving or whether he/she is suitable for driving under certain conditions.
In addition to illnesses or symptoms of old age that are relevant to driving, addiction to narcotics and the misuse of medication, for example, can result in a (specialist) medical examination in accordance with §11 of the Driving Licence Ordinance (FeV). This shall also apply in the event of unlawful possession of narcotics.
All doctors at TÜV Hessen have, of course, the required traffic medical qualification.
